Can I use your tea every day?

It's wonderful that you want to include the benefits of pine tea in your daily routine. We recommend using pine tea in moderation, with a suggested limit of 4-5 cups per week. If you have any concerns, please consult with a healthcare practitioner.

Are your teas safe for pregnant or breastfeeding moms?

We understand that not all herbs are suitable for everyone, especially during pregnancy and breastfeeding. As a nursing or expectant mother, we recommend consulting your doctor before consuming any of our teas.

Why is freshness important in your pine needle tea?

Freshness ensures a more flavourful and aromatic tea.  Signs of unfresh needles include browning or severe yellowing, which are natural as evergreens shed aged needles during their plant cycle. These brown needles are excellent for mulch and campfire starters, enriching our forest floors.

How do you pick pine needles for your tea?

A pine branch can reach up to 10 feet and contains both older needles and new growth. When picking, we focus on selecting fresh green needles. We carefully remove needles with brown tips, opting for those that are dark green—ensuring the highest quality for our tea.

How do you ensure the freshness of your pine needle tea during packaging?

Pine needles, like other leafy greens, indicate freshness through their vibrant green color. At Woodlanders Artisan, we prioritize freshness by harvesting needles on or around the day of shipping and packaging them in our custom bags. We also partner with a reliable and efficient shipping service to ensure prompt delivery to our customers.

How should I store the tea bags?

Tea bags should be refrigerated or stored in the freezer upon receipt. This ensures they stay fresh, green, and prevents spoiling. Preserving the green freshness is crucial for maintaining ultimate potency.
